Members of PKAR implement electronic lockboxes.
October 31, 2019, Peterborough, ON – Peterborough and the Kawarthas Association of REALTORS® Inc. (PKAR) is pleased to announce the implementation of SentriLock electronic lockboxes for use on listings in the PKAR jurisdiction.
REALTORS® in our community know that the safety and security of their clients is the number 1 priority during the real estate transaction. This does not simply mean having the expertise to ensure our clients are protected on paper, it also means ensuring we make the physical security of our clients most valuable asset a priority.
With this new technology our local REALTORS® will be able to track every access to our clients home within seconds of the lockbox opening. The electronic lockboxes are more durable then traditional mechanical boxes and can withstand vandalism. Finally, the SentriLock lockboxes provide an additional level of safety for our membership if they encounter a dangerous situation.
